• 5 Ways to Stay Forever Young

I observe people in older age groups who are vibrant, full of life, energetic, and excited about each new day.

And I observe others, who, often much younger, exhibit listless energy, poor health, a stagnant mind, and a willingness to walk through death’s door.

    What is the difference?

After gaining experience for myself in the process of marching through time, and talking to others who have found ways to remain spirited and lively, I’ve gained a few insights.

Here are five ways to stay forever young.

    1. Always be learning. As the saying goes, “If you don’t use it, you lose it.” This is very true, especially for your mind. Read, watch educational videos, and ask a lot of questions. Stay intensely curious about the world. It’s not enough, though, to just gather knowledge for knowledge sake. I believe it holds much more value when directly applied to a business, hobby, project, or when it is taught to others.
    2. Dream. Have big goals. Stretch yourself with what’s possible. To manifest your dreams, you need to become the person capable of reaching them. Then, the true treasure becomes not the pot of gold at the end of the journey, but the human being you became in the process.
    3. Prioritizing your health. Move your body daily. Eat healthy, delicious, fulfilling foods. Health is wealth, and people who prioritize their health over many years show signs of life that outpace their peers. This doesn’t mean you have to be a health dictator. Enjoy the occasional cake, glass of wine, or whatever your delight may be. But make your health a daily commitment.
    4. Laugh. The energy of people of who take life and themselves too seriously have a dense energy. And over time, I believe this kind of energy zaps our life. Open the creative part of your brain. Tell jokes, laugh at yourself, maintain a sense of humor, listen to music, visit art museums. Life can be extremely sad and painful. We need the light to keep our sanity and youth.
    5. Treat people with integrity. How you treat people determines how you treat yourself. You may be able to lie to your conscious mind, but deep down, your subconscious knows the truth. And if you operate in life without a moral code, it will keep you up at night, reminding you of your deeds. And without sleep, you will grow old very fast. If you want to stay young, treat others with kindness, respect, and integrity.

Of course, nobody lives forever. The body eventually breaks down, and we go back to the source from where we came. But while you’re here, don’t you want to squeeze the juice and life out of every moment? Enjoy the simple pleasures. Relish each sunset and sunrise. Cherish the time spent with the people you love. Stay young, vibrant, and alive. And as Dylan Thomas wrote, “Do not go gentle in that good night.”

  • Every Thought You Have Is A Deposit Into The Bank Of The Future You

Most people don’t realize the power of their own thoughts.

I mean, after all, we have hundreds of thousands of thoughts each day, just zooming right through our head.

What could possibly be the value all those little ripples on the water?

Well, the truth is that each thought holds inside of it the seed of your future.

Each thought you have is a deposit into the bank account of your future you.

And the quality, direction, and intention behind the thoughts will determine if you have a bank account full of gold, or one full of lead.

    Think of it this way…

Each powerful positive thought you have is a gold coin deposit into your account.

You ponder the possibilities of your business. You focus on the building of your skills. You do selfless things for other people. You fill your mind with gratitude for the things you have and the people in your life.

You have just deposited an entire bucket of gold coins into your account.

    Now flip it.

You spent the morning worrying about everything going wrong at work. You watched the news and got riled up into a ball of anger and fear. You pondered all those things that your coworkers and family do that annoy you. Then you spent an hour doom scrolling on instagram comparing yourself to fashion models.

Now you have just deposited a truckload of garbage into your account. Instead of gold, your vault is full of empty cups, tissues, straws, and decomposing food.

    Yuck!

Carry this scenario out day after day, year after year….

And you begin to see the power of one thought.

Now you might be asking, “How do I change my thoughts to deposit gold instead of garbage into my account?’

    Well, the answer is hypnosis.

But that is a story for another day.

    Good luck and God bless.

  • Nature’s Song

A great portion of my inspiration for music and art comes through my time spent in nature.

    Long walks in the park.

    Trail runs.

    Meditations by the lake.

All from the incredible sound and structure on Nature’s Song.

The first level of the tune is my own thoughts.

I have the time, space, and grace to listen to the words of my heart.

But a layer deeper lies the song of the Earth.

The crumbling of leaves on the forest floor.

The trickling water traveling over the rocks.

A canopy of trees above swinging in the breeze like a chorus of harmony singers.

The sounds come together into the perfect symphony.

    And I listen.

    Much Love, aE
