I love watching a beautiful sunset.

There is something powerfully magic in watching that bright star dip over the horizon, ushering in the night.

It is a reminder of the sheer perfectness of our existence.

The movement of the planets. The day followed by night, followed again, by day. Like clockwork, for billions of years.

The pure luck to have a star just the right distance that gives us life, provides warmth and energy, without engulfing everything in its power.

It is also a reminder of our own mortality.

The sun will not always be there. One day it will die.

Watching the light of the sun transform into the darkness of night is a sign to remember the same will happen to us.

Each sunset is a blessing. Each breath. Each kiss. Each drink of water. Each laugh. Each moment of love.

Relish each sunset like its your last.

Because one day, it will be.
